Let’s get this out of the way, just in case you don’t read here very often and don’t know. We’re big Aston Martin fans. We think that Aston Martin produce works of art that just happen to be hugely enjoyable to drive (with a few caveats – but that’s for another time).
The 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The last round of changes to the Aston Martin V8 Vantage turned it in to what it should have been in the first place – a properly powerful ‘baby’ Aston Martin. So having put things right in a big way last year, Aston Martin are not trumpeting the changes to the V8 Vantage for 2010 from the rooftops, but changes there are. The visual changes include a set of 19″, 10-spoke diamond turned alloys, kevlar and carbon fibre seats, clear tail lights (just like those on the V12 Vantage), a new set of side sills which seem to have been borrowed from the N400, and a Magnun Silver Bonnet and side strakes.

Aston Martin officially unveiled the One-77 at the Geneva motor show today, displaying a full-size model of the car and an exposed carbonfibre chassis, designed to showcase the engineering expertise inside the 1.1 million pound monster. Right. The chassis might be carbonfibre, but the aluminium panels are hand rolled.
